As a TELUS Health MyCare Nurse Practitioner you'll have the opportunity to help us shape the future of healthcare across Canada by improving access to healthcare for all by bringing it directly to the communities that need it most.

Location: TELUS Health MyCare, 557 Superior St #101, Victoria, BC V8V 0E4

Schedule: At least 1 day (9 am -5 pm) in the clinic per week.

Remuneration: Competitive, flexible and negotiable

Here's How

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-informed preventative care, including assessments, diagnostic tests, procedures, and therapies'
  • Conduct regular patient follow-up for health promotion and disease management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support interdisciplinary care.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat episodic and chronic conditions.
  • Contribute to individualized care plans.
  • Make appropriate internal and external referrals.
  • Participate in complex and specialized patient care.
  • Engage in networking, conferences, and presentations as a TELUS Health ambassador and knowledgeable clinician.
  • Stay informed about TELUS Health programs and community resources to assist patients in achieving their health goals.

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Masters of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree or equivalent, with a post-Master’s diploma (PMD)
  • Current registration as a practicing Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Nurse practitioner category: Family
  • Successful completion of the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination)
  • Active, unrestricted provincial license(s) with prescribing and/or lab numbers
  • Active CPR AED Level C certification

Preferred

  • 2+ years of primary care experience preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a positive and results-focused attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and patients
  • Proficiency in technology-supported care, including familiarity with EMRs
  • Commitment to delivering comprehensive patient-centered care with a focus on an exceptional customer experience and achieving the best possible outcomes.
