Job Title: Locum Family Physician - Multidisciplinary Group Practice

Compensation:

  • LFP billing - Competitive 80/20 split

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Locum Family Physician to join our welcoming multidisciplinary group family practice clinic. Situated in a beautiful space, our clinic is well-supported with nursing, Medical Office Assistant (MOA), and billing support. You will be working alongside other family physicians, nurse practitioners and a wonderful team of RNs, LPNs and allied care clinicians. Our open and friendly team is committed to providing high-quality care to our patient community. We utilize the CHR Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, and training will be provided if required.

Here’s How:

Manage same-day fit-ins, overflow, and episodic care for the practice’s paneled patients.

  • Cover task boxes for physicians away from office
  • Our clinic does not see walk in patients
  • Average patient volume is 2-4 patients an hour
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners, registered nurses, MOAs, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Foster an open and friendly team environment.

Scheduling and Flexibility:

  • 1-2 days a week on a regularly scheduled basis.
  • There is flexibility in hours and days.

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • CCFP Designation
  • You are a physician licensed to practice in the province of British Columbia
  • You maintain medical liability insurance coverage through Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • You are comfortable with using an EMR and workplace technology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
